Situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Hodges, the Spanish style residence needed modifications to take advantage of the view and provide the owners with an outdoor living environment. Additionally, the kitchen had been recently remodeled, and as such a new dining area was desired to compliement the beautifully remodeled kitchen. The new addtion was to occur where an exterior patio had previously been located, so as part of the addition, a covered, "exterior" living room was incorporated, complete with a vaulted, open beam ceiling and an exterior fireplace taking advanatage of the existing swimming pool and view of the adjacent valley. Finishes in this "exterior" living room provide a seamless transition from the exterior patio to the indoor spaces.
