Location: Mira Mesa community of San Diego ,California.

The owner's of this residence had one goal for this project; to creat a desireable outdoor living environment, as they spend much of their free time relaxing outdoors. To accomplish this goal, the existing patio trellis and patio were completely demolished, and a new 500 sq.ft patio cover was constructed.

To provide a unique space, a portion of the ceiling is vaulted with 2 large skylights to provide natural light from above. The ceiling is covered with stained wood to provide a "natural" feel to the space.

The patio cover also provides a balcony for the master bedroom above.
